About Kyle
Kyle Baker (b. 1993) was born in Nashville, Tennessee and has been scuzzin’ and buzzin’ for the better part of his life.  His drive to be an artist led him to pursue a B.F.A in drawing and painting from Middle Tennessee State University.  After graduation he spent a year in Vietnam and then relocated to Beijing.

Kyle's work focuses primarily on portraiture and the figure.  His motivation comes from his travels and experiences living in foreign countries and his goal is to express these ideas in a narrative way.  His newest series of work focuses on daily Chinese life and his experience living in China.

Kyle's work can be seen at Gallery 1401 in Chattanooga, TN and at sporadic exhibitions throughout the world.  For more information on acquiring an original or a commission, or to simply say hello, feel free to contact Kyle.
